Directions

From Los Angeles:

 Take the I-10 east to I-15 north, to the I-40 east until you get to the signed exit for the "Kelbaker Road". Exit here and turn north (left) on Kelbaker Rd. In a few miles you will see a sign for the Kelso Dunes. Turn left and head 3 miles on a graded dirt road to the BLM parking area. Park here and start your hike!
